Welcome to Seattle TRACON NATCA Local S46's Home Page. We represent 41 air traffic control specialists employed at Seattle Terminal Radar Approach Control (TRACON). We should have 57 air traffic control specialists but due to the FAA's imposed work rules of 9/5/2006 many controllers are retiring the day they are eligible. We have 21 controllers eligible to retire today. If the hostile work climate continues we will be in a emergency staffing situation at Seattle TRACON. We are located on the West side of the Seattle-Tacoma International airport. With over 600,000 operations per year, we are the 18th busiest radar facility in the United States. Our airspace extends from Everett in the north, to Snoqualmie in the east, to Olympia in the south, to Bremerton in the west. Our Local officers are:
